Initial setup for Firestick

You have to plug the power cord into the wall jack and the other side of the cord plugs into the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

You cannot plug the fire bar’s power cord into the TV’s USB port. You must get power from the wall outlet, not from your TV. The Amazon Fire TV Stick plugs directly into your TV’s HDMI port.

There is an HDMI extender that comes with the Amazon Fire Stick and its use is optional.

You should now have your Amazon Fire Stick connected to the HDMI port on your TV, the power cable should be connected to the Fire Stick while it is connected to the wall outlet.

Change to the correct hdmi channel on your tv and you will see the amazon fire tv welcome screen.

You will then need to connect to your Wi-Fi and enter your password.

Once you connect your Amazon Fire Stick to your Wi-Fi, the screen will ask for your Amazon login information.

For any other issues related to your Firestick device, feel free to notify us at any time and we will be happy to assist you.

You can register an amazon account. Create a free account here, if you don’t already have an Amazon account.

You can use a free account or an Amazon Master account. Both simply give you access to the home page and you can then use Kodi.

If you choose to create an Amazon account on your computer or phone, it won’t ask you for credit card information.

Once you sign in with your Amazon account, you will be on the Amazon home page.

Once you fire up Kodi (for the first time), let Kodi go through the process of installing your apps for at least 3-5 minutes.

After loading the first time, it should only take a couple of minutes to load when viewed again.

Note: Always give Kodi 2-3 minutes to load your builds before clicking any button on your Fire Stick remote. Failing to do so can cause your Kodi to not work properly due to apps not fully installing. After the initial setup, you should be ready to stream anything at will.
