The family structure, like society in general, has undergone significant changes. Most of the time, when a person imagines the definition of family, the figure of a mother, a father and their children is what comes to mind. The shape or structure does not show how healthy it is or how they work.

Structures are the substantial composition of members in relation to each other without regard to roles and function. There are four famous types of family structure; Nuclear, single parent, extended and childless. These four types of family structure give the variety of forms that can appear.

The first structure of the four types of is Nuclear. A nuclear family consists of a mother, father, and their biological or adoptive descendants, often called a traditional family. This was the most admired of the four types of structure. It can be a foster environment in which to raise children as long as there is love, time spent with children, emotional support, under stress, and constant financial education.

The second structure of the four types of family structure is the single parent. His most prominent transformation of the four types of family structure was the amplified one-parent. Children are more likely to live in a single parent structure for reasons other than the death of a parent.

One in four children is born to their unmarried mothers, usually teenage mothers. One of the most luxurious things for a single parent is babysitting. Single families tend to have less pressure compared to pressure from families before divorce. Parents and children are generally more willing to work together to find solutions to solve household chores in single-parent families.

The third structure of the four types of structure is the Extended Family. The extended family is two or more adults of different generations of a family, who share a home. It consists of more than parents and children; It can be a family that includes parents, children, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, adopted children. Sometimes grandparents raise children when their biological parents have died or can no longer care for them. Extended families can be found all over the world in different communities and countries. In all four types of structure, the nuclear family is more likely to develop into an extended family than any other type of family.

The fourth and final structure of the four types of family structure is the childless family. A family without children is basically a group of people of different origins and social conditions who, for whatever reason, have never had children. Others may have children at some point in the future, but are not ready yet, and some have sought to have children but were unable to due to a variety of social and / or biological forces that obstruct and result in unplanned childlessness. To replace children, childless families often have pets as surrogates.

There are a variety of demonstrations on the four types of family structure and the changes that are taking place within the family. Although the changing lifestyles and increasing personal mobility characterize modern society, the family remains the most intimate element of contemporary life.
