  5. Now add the tomato puree and keep stirring until the fat starts to separate.
  6. Now add garam masala, salt and red pepper and mix well.
  7. Add the spinach to the chicken and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.

  11. The chicken saagwala is now ready for you. Enjoy the tempting experience!

Do not forget to plate it carefully since the garnish is one of the most important parts of the kitchen. You can decorate with freshly cut vegetables. Serve it and enjoy the dish.

Chicken Saagwala is one of the succulent Indian recipes that can be savored with rice, chapatis or even savored as a stand-alone dish. Nutritionally speaking, saag (spinach) and chicken are high in protein and fiber, therefore they are great for your heart and healthy too. Other garnishes can also be added to add color to the dish, however adding garnishes such as parsley leaves, bell pepper, and coriander is recommended.

If you intend to make the dish spicier, you can add more spices, add more tablespoons of tomato puree, and yes, a little more curry powder, and of course, chillies!
