Ingredients:

1-10 pounds raw ham (make sure it’s not precooked)

1 small jar

12 ounce Coke

1 large kitchen bag

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 250°. Unwrap the ham and place wrappers all over the top and sides of the ham. Place the ham in the cooking bag and pour the can of coke over the ham. Tie up the cooking bag and place it in the pan, cut a couple of small slits in the top of the cooking bag so the steam can escape and if it doesn’t the bag will burst. Place the dish in the oven and cook for 8 hours.

This is the most tender ham you will ever eat and the leftovers, if you have any, make great next day ham sandwiches.

Another good way to cook a ham is in a large clay pot. The ham will naturally need to be around five pounds of ham. Unwrap the ham and place the cloves into the sides and top of the ham. Place the ham in the crock pot and pour the can of coke on top; cover and let cook on low heat for 6 hours.

If you don’t want this as a main dish, cut the ham into about 1-inch pieces and serve as an appetizer with toothpicks and crackers and dip in a pineapple sauce.

You won’t go wrong cooking a ham this way.
